Allison Meierding is a designer and illustrator with a lifelong love of books. In work and life, Allison focuses her energy on the natural world, health and wellness, art, family life, and sustainability. A cookbook she designed was nominated for the IACP Julia Child First Book Award.

In addition to her years of design expertise, Allison honed her marketing experience as a cofounder of the nonprofit Boston Food Forest Coalition and developed strong writing skills as a content manager. Allison has also completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and holds a Permaculture Design Certification.

Allison has a BFA in Illustration from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. The first decade of her design career was spent in NYC, where she got a solid education in book publishing, branding, and content management. She now lives in New England where she can be found taking long walks in the woods, scribbling with her son, and reading under the covers with a flashlight.
